Overflowing with love and charm, Valentine is a true cuddlebug through and through, always eager to share her heart with anyone fortunate enough to meet her. She melts every heart she meets the moment she gently rests her head in your lap, those soulful eyes looking up at you with pure Valentine devotion. You can’t help but fall under her spell and feel completely smitten. She’s simply too adorable for words and too loving not to fall for.
Valentine is a confident, self-assured girl who takes everything in her stride, moving through life with an open heart. We have no doubt this sweetheart will be snapped up in no time. She would thrive in a busier household just as happily as in a quieter one, as long as she has her humans by her side. Valentine is currently sharing her kennel with Archer, and she is more than happy to share her space and her affection. She gets along so well with her fellow greyhounds, happy to share her space and her heart with the dogs around her. We think she would love a home with another greyhound or two to keep her company, as she clearly enjoys the comfort and companionship of her friends.
That said, Valentine is also a people dog at heart, and her greatest love will always be her humans. She would be just as happy as the only dog in the home, soaking up all the love and attention for herself like the little queen of hearts she is. Whether she’s part of a pack or has her humans all to herself, she’ll be perfectly happy as long as she’s surrounded by love.
Valentine would adore being part of a family and would happily live alongside dog-savvy children. She gives her love so freely that any human, big or small, who is ready to receive it will find themselves blessed with the most devoted companion. I can easily picture her trotting along on school runs, tail wagging, greeting everyone she meets like it’s a daily celebration of love, before heading home for a cuddle on the sofa.
At the same time, Valentine would thrive in an adult-only home where she can enjoy a calm and peaceful environment, soaking up all the affection from her favourite people. She truly just wants to love and be loved in return.
During her dog test, Valentine was an absolute star and handled it with grace. She took us all by surprise with how polite and calm she was. Gentle, well-mannered, and confident in her approach, she handled everything beautifully. Blossom took to her straight away, and the two of them walked side by side happily without a single issue, like two old friends reunited on Valentine’s Day.
Valentine’s gentle and attentive nature really shone through, and it was lovely to see how comfortable she was. Blossom even gave her the sniff of approval, which is a rare honour reserved only for her favourite hounds, so Valentine officially has the Blossom stamp of approval, a true seal of love.
Valentine is everything you could ever hope for in a greyhound. She’s kind, gentle, affectionate, and full of quiet confidence. She has the rare ability to make every day feel brighter, every heart feel warmer, and every home feel full of love.
