I do think he would thrive in a home where someone works from home or could have an office dog, as he truly appreciates being close to his people. A home like that would be perfect for Soto.
When it comes to humans, Soto loves them all, big and small. We feel a home with very young children would not be the best fit. Greyhounds are not always known for their spatial awareness, and one playful zoomie could easily knock a little one over by accident. Dog-savvy children or teenagers who are confident around large dogs would be ideal for him.
He would also be perfectly suited to an adult-only home where he can snooze the days away, stretch out across the sofa, and be the very centre of his humans’ world. His adaptable and easy-going personality means he will fit into many different homes with ease. As long as there is love, comfort, and a few soft blankets, he will be in his element.
During his dog test, Soto was absolute perfection. He and Blossom instantly connected and were straight to wanting to walk and explore together. Their tails did not stop wagging, and it was lovely to see just how polite, well-mannered, and social Soto is with other breeds.
I truly believe this boy can get along with anyone and anything. He just has that nature and way about him. He was so well behaved with Blossom and so happy to simply be by her side, enjoying all the sights and smells together. This boy is very close to perfection. He is exceptional in everything he does, and he deserves humans who are just as exceptional, who will love him as deeply as he will love them.
Soto is, quite simply, a joy. Gentle, sensitive, and endlessly loving, he is one of those rare dogs who touches your heart in the most effortless way.
