In fact, Randall is one of the most loving, kind-hearted hounds you could ever meet, giving the very best snuggles and carrying himself with a wonderfully gentle nature.
He’s a happy-go-lucky, confident, and sensitive soul with the sweetest personality, always looking out for his humans and his greyhound friends. Incredibly social and friendly, Randall has a way of making people fall in love instantly—he truly is something special.
Randall is adored by all of us at the kennels. With his calm, patient ways and spotless manners, he’s the very picture of good behaviour. He waits politely for his turn, keeps his kennel tidy, and is such a joy to care for.
We do not doubt that this well-mannered side of him will carry effortlessly into his forever home. Though he has the wisdom of an old soul, Randall also has a fun, puppy-like side.
He loves a good game with his toys, and his silly little antics never fail to make us laugh. It’s this perfect mix of gentle calmness and playful charm that makes him such a delightful companion.
When Randall first came to us, he was a little shy and quiet, almost like he was trying to blend into the background, just like his movie namesake. But once he settled and felt safe, his true personality began to shine through, and what a joy it has been to watch him blossom.
It does take Randall a little longer to form bonds, but when he does, they are incredibly deep and meaningful.
His love is the kind you have to earn, but once you have it, it’s for life – and that makes it all the more special.
Randall is also incredibly in tune with the emotions of those around him. He always seems to know when someone needs one of his famous cuddles, and on the tougher days, his quiet love and soothing presence bring real comfort.
He’s the kind of dog who makes you feel safe, cherished, and deeply loved just by being close. There isn’t a single bad bone in his body, he simply loves to love.
Randall truly embodies all the best traits of a classic male hound: affectionate, laid-back, endlessly kind, and full of gentle charm.
He’s our little “scarer turned sweetheart” – and we’re all completely in love with him.

Randall has fitted right into life here at Clark’s Farm, quickly becoming a cherished part of the family. He won us all over with his loving nature and gentle spirit.
His kind, calming energy and natural ability to connect with humans make you feel instantly safe and truly loved. He really is the bestest boy, and we can’t wait to see him find the forever home he so deserves.
He’s also a regular in our Meet the Breed appointments, where he shows families just how wonderful greyhounds are. Randall has helped so many people fall in love with the breed, and he never fails to win hearts with his gentle charm.
He’ll happily press himself up against you, gazing up with those puppy dog eyes that nobody could possibly resist. He is, without a doubt, the perfect ambassador for his fellow hounds.
Randall is an incredibly social boy, both with people and other hounds. He truly gets along with everyone he meets and has built lovely bonds with his kennel mates.
He currently shares with Dolly, and the two of them adore each other. Whatever hound we pair him with, Randall always gets along with ease, he has such good energy that all the greyhounds seem to gravitate towards him.
There isn’t a single dog or person who has met him and not fallen completely in love.
This sweet boy would be more than happy to share his forever home with another hound or two, as he’s so social and friendly.
That said, Randall is also perfectly independent and would be just as content as the only dog in the home, soaking up all the love and attention from his humans.
He’s a true people dog at heart, happy to live alongside older children, teenagers, or adults. With his playful yet gentle nature, we can see him loving family life with children who want cuddles and companionship.
Equally, his calm, easy-going side would make him a perfect fit for a quieter adult-only home. Randall is wonderfully adaptable—he’ll settle beautifully wherever he goes.
During his dog test, Randall was a little unsure but handled himself beautifully. He was calm and polite with Blossom, preferring not to interact too much, which is absolutely fine.
Now that he’s settled so well here at the kennels, we’re certain he’d be far more confident in another dog test, as his personality has blossomed in leaps and bounds since his first day.
Blossom herself seemed to like him straight away, and he got her “sniff of approval” which, trust us, isn’t given out lightly!
Randall truly is everything you could wish for in a greyhound. With his kind heart, gentle soul, and special gift for making people feel loved, he’ll bring endless joy, cuddles, and companionship into his forever home.
