Pumpkin is such a good girl that recently she attended an event at Wild Dogs, where there were lots of people, dogs, and plenty of noise. True to her name, she was cool, calm, and collected, completely unbothered by the excitement around her and far more interested in collecting fuss, cuddles, and treats.
For her very first trip out of the kennels, she was an absolute star, and we were bursting with pride watching how relaxed and happy she was. Everyone who met her at the event fell in love with her, commenting on how beautiful, friendly, and well-behaved she was. She really is a social butterfly, gliding through life with that happy-go-lucky breeze we all adore.
Pumpkin is currently sharing her kennel with Cedric, and the two of them get along brilliantly. They’re such a lovely pair, always relaxed and content together. She’s very happy and social with other greyhounds, so we know she would be more than content sharing her forever home with one or two hound friends.
That said, Pumpkin is a people dog at heart. She’d be just as happy as the only dog in the home, soaking up all the love and cuddles for herself. She’s confident, independent, and more than ready to be the shining centre of her new family’s world.
Whether she’s surrounded by a pack or has her humans all to herself, she’ll be happy as long as there’s love, comfort, and a sofa with her name on it. Her social and outgoing spirit is one of her most magical traits, and it’s one of the many reasons she’s so loved by everyone here.

She still has her funny little zoomies and bursts of energy, but overall she’s an easy-going lady who takes everything in her stride. We know she would thrive living with someone who has plenty of time, patience, and love to give her. She’s the perfect recipe for happiness a sprinkle of sass, a spoonful of sweetness, and a heart as warm as pumpkin pie.
During her dog test, Pumpkin was an absolute star. She took everything in her stride and was calm, friendly, and beautifully well-mannered. She and Blossom got along instantly, walking happily side by side up the road without a single issue. Pumpkin kept checking in with curious sniffs and tail wags, making sure her new friend was still beside her.
Blossom adored her, bouncing around her in delight. It was such a lovely sight to see. Pumpkin also greeted other dogs of all shapes and sizes with ease at the event, her tail wagging constantly as she made new friends. It’s clear she’s a social girl through and through, with a heart big enough for everyone she meets. She’s endlessly loving, caring, and full of that happy-go-lucky spark we all adore.
