Playful, silly, and full of fun, Polar has a puppy-like spirit that brings endless smiles. His cheeky antics and frosty little zoomies light up our days, but behind his playful sparkle is the gentlest, softest heart. This boy adores human company and would happily spend all day snuggled up in your arms, soaking up fuss and affection like the sweetest polar cuddle bug.

His kind eyes and gentle nature are enough to make everything feel a little lighter. Confident, friendly, and wonderfully social, Polar is a true happy-go-lucky hound with a “go with the snow” attitude. He settled into life at Clarks Farm as if he had always been here, taking everything in his stride like the calmest Christmas breeze. Nothing really fazes him.
He simply floats through his days, far more interested in soaking up love and attention from his favourite people than worrying about anything else. His outgoing and bubbly nature makes him a joy to be around, and he has very quickly become a much loved part of our family.
Polar is the perfect balance of good nature, gentle affection, and playful charm. He’s the kind of companion who will change your life for the better, bringing warmth, laughter, and love to every single day. This boy is truly one in a million, and we know without a doubt he will make his forever family feel like they’ve won the polar jackpot.
I love how Polar enjoys being around us humans but is also happy to take himself off for a quiet moment of independence, like a little polar bear off exploring his snowy kingdom. His personality is one of the most caring and kind. He reads emotions so naturally and always seems to know when someone needs a Polar snuggle or a nose kiss to thaw their worries away.
He is such an easy-going boy in his kennel, happy, relaxed, and beautifully polite. In every situation life has thrown at him, he has proven that he is a go with the flow hound who just wants love, comfort, and his favourite humans nearby. He makes friends wherever he goes, spreading warmth quicker than hot chocolate on a frosty day, and it’s impossible not to fall head over heels for him within seconds.
His compassion is a true gift, one that should be treasured by his forever family. He has such an exceptional personality, and I genuinely believe he would make a wonderful therapy dog one day. He has that magical “Polar touch” that makes people feel calm, safe, and loved, and that kind of gift is something really special.

One of my favourite things about Polar is his love for roaching. Every time I walk past his kennel, he’s in full polar bear mode, on his back with his legs in the air like he just doesn’t care.
We probably have enough roaching photos of him to fill a whole Polar scrapbook, and I swear he is the most majestic upside-down hound I’ve ever met. He is pure joy, rolled over and frozen perfectly in bliss.
Polar has settled into life here at Clarks Farm as if he has always been part of our little winter wonderland, and I have loved every minute of getting to know this sweetheart. He handed us his heart on a silver snowflake the moment he walked through our doors, and we feel so lucky to have been wrapped up in all his love and kindness these past few weeks.
He takes everything in his icy stride, never making a fuss, and always melting our hearts with how sweet and steady he is. Polar is such a confident and social boy. Every day, he shows us how loving, kind, and friendly greyhounds truly are, proving that he really is the warmest soul in a polar world.
His adaptability and calm confidence shine through like a northern star, making it clear he is the sort of hound who can handle anything that drifts his way. Because he is so easy-going, Polar would suit a wide range of homes and lifestyles. City snowstorms or peaceful countryside frost, he will settle anywhere as long as his favourite humans are by his side.
I have brought Polar out with me for multiple Meet the Breed appointments, or whenever people pop down to meet the hounds, and he is always the dog I reach for. He is the perfect ambassador, showing the world exactly what a typical boy hound is: gentle, loving, and a tiny bit of an adorable doofus.
He is the kind of dog who makes you feel instantly at ease, like a warm mug of cocoa on a frosty morning. Polar has had female kennel mates and has also kennelled alone, and he has been just as content in both situations. He is kind and caring with every hound and human he meets, and he blends into any group like freshly fallen snow.
We haven’t met a single hound who doesn’t adore him. He would be more than happy sharing his forever home with a friendly female greyhound, but he’d equally thrive as the only dog, soaking up all the warmth and love like a polar bear basking in the sun. We have no worries at all about finding a home that suits him, because he truly shines wherever he lands.
Polar is very much a people dog, and his affection extends to humans both big and small. He’d be more than happy living with dog-savvy children, joining in with games, snowy school runs, or snuggling up for cosy winter evenings. He’d be just as happy in an adult-only home, where he can be the shining centre of his humans world.
When it came to his dog test, Polar was the perfect gentleman. He walked beautifully alongside Blossom, giving her space when she needed it but showing sweet, polite interest with his happy frosty sniffs. He was calm, confident, and friendly throughout, showing exactly why he is such a joy to be around.
Blossom adored him straight away and even had a little play session with him, bouncing around like two snowflakes dancing in the wind. Whenever Blossom takes to a hound instantly, I know they must be giving off the absolute best vibes and she trusts them fully and of course it didn’t shock me that she loved him, because everyone who meets him does.
Polar truly is a treasure, a boy full of love, laughter, and light. With his playful spirit, affectionate heart, and loyal soul, he has everything you could ever want in a best friend.
Polar is ready to drift into the heart of his forever family and warm their world in ways they never knew they needed.
