Minnie has happily shared her kennel with a few of our lovely boy hounds and always gets on beautifully with them. She’s social and friendly with her greyhound friends and clearly enjoys their company.
Because of this, we feel she would love a home with another greyhound or two to show her the ropes of home life and offer her comfort as she adjusts.
That said, Minnie Mouse doesn’t rely on other hounds—she’s confident enough in herself to be the only dog in the home too, as long as her humans are kind, patient, and willing to let her blossom in her own time.
A peaceful, adult-only home would be her dream. Minnie Mouse thrives in calm surroundings where she can relax, potter about, and enjoy her cuddles on her own terms.
A busier household or home with children wouldn’t be the right match for her, as she prefers a slower pace of life filled with love and quiet companionship. She would do best with someone who adores her gentle spirit and lets her settle at her own pace, without any pressure.
During her dog test, Minnie Mouse truly lit up when she met Blossom. She was gentle, affectionate, and loved Blossom’s company, walking pressed up alongside her with such calm contentment.
We even gave them some time together off-lead in a secure space, and Minnie was completely at ease, just quietly enjoying herself. Because of this, we believe she could happily live with other breeds too, provided they are chilled out and kind like she is.
Her ability to bring such a soothing presence wherever she goes is truly special.
