Her easy-going and adaptable nature means she would suit a wide variety of home environments, as she is the kind of dog who fits right in wherever she lands. We have no doubt this sweetheart will be snapped up quickly. She is confident, outgoing and would do very well in busier environments, totally unfazed by the world around her.
As long as she has her humans beside her, Jammie is ready to take on any new adventure with a wagging tail and an open heart. She really is absolute perfection, and we know she will settle into home life just as effortlessly as she settled into life here at the kennels.
Her loving nature is so genuine and heartfelt. It is impossible not to melt when she throws her arms around you in one of her trademark jumpy cuddles. She is a total sweetheart, and we are more than happy to be on the receiving end of her endless kisses and squeezes.
At the moment, Jammie is kennelled with Oakley, and the two of them get on brilliantly. She is very social with other greyhounds and would be more than happy to share her forever home with one or two hound friends.
That said, Jammie is also a people dog at heart. She would be just as happy as the only dog in the home, soaking up all the cuddles and attention for herself. She is independent, confident and more than ready to be the centre of her new family’s world.
Jammie would love to be part of a family and would happily live alongside dog-savvy children. Because she loves giving enthusiastic and bouncy cuddles, she would need children who are comfortable around bigger dogs and who can enjoy her affection as much as she loves giving it.
She gives her love freely to any human who is ready to receive it. She would also be equally happy in an adult-only home, so long as her humans adore her just as much as she adores them.
During her dog test, Jammie was absolutely perfect well, once she actually saw Blossom. Her dog test had us in stitches, and the fact we have it on video makes it even funnier. Jammie decided that before greeting Blossom, she would launch herself straight at Josh, our cameraman, for a cuddle. All you can see is Jammie’s happy face flying toward him like a jam-filled missile of love. It was adorable.
Once she finally spotted Blossom, and had finished cuddling every human within reach, she was calm, friendly and beautifully well-mannered. She and Blossom got along straight away, walking happily up the road together with no issues at all.
It is clear that Jammie is an all-round social girl who spreads sweetness into every corner of her life. She is loving, caring and full of that happy-go-lucky spark we all adore.
We are all completely head over paws for her. Jammie is truly one of a kind, and whoever is lucky enough to adopt her will be blessed with happiness and love every single day.
