She’s always patient and happy to wait her turn, her kennel is spotless, and she spends her days calm and content. There really isn’t a single bad thing to say about this girl. She’s the kind of hound who makes life brighter and calmer just by being around.
We know that she’ll settle into home life exactly the same way she has here, effortlessly. Once she finds her forever family, her heart will truly take root, and we know she’ll bloom beautifully.
We can already picture how much Ivy will love home life. Having her own sofa to curl up on, her favourite humans close by, and all the snuggles, toys and treats to herself will mean the world to her.

Ivy is a dog we regularly bring to our Meet the Breed appointments, as she’s an incredible ambassador for greyhounds. She’s helped so many families fall in love with the breed and move forward in adopting.

Ivy is wonderfully adaptable and would fit beautifully into a wide range of homes. She’s super easy-going and would be just as happy in a busy city as she would in a quiet countryside home.
She takes everything in her stride and has the perfect temperament to slot straight into family life.
Ivy has happily shared her kennel with a few of our lovely boys and always gets on brilliantly with them. She’s social, friendly, and really enjoys the company of other greyhounds. Because of this, we feel she’d love a home with another hound or two to show her the ropes of home life and offer her comfort as she settles in.
That said, Ivy is also confident and independent. She doesn’t rely on other dogs for security and would be equally happy as the only dog in the home, soaking up all the love for herself. With her humans by her side, she’ll always feel at peace.
Ivy is also a sweetheart with people and would be very happy living with dog-savvy children in her forever home. She loves all humans, big and small, and we know she’ll fit right into a family that can give her the love she deserves.
We just ask that any children are comfortable and confident around larger dogs and can give her space if she needs it.
She’d also thrive in a calm, adult-only or teenage home where she can snooze the days away and enjoy her peaceful walks. Ivy isn’t fussy about where she goes, as long as she’s loved. Her gentle nature, happy soul, and adaptable heart make her a dream addition to almost any home.
During her dog test, Ivy truly lit up when she met Blossom. She was gentle, affectionate, and walked calmly alongside her with her tail happily wagging. Ivy clearly adored Blossom’s company and kept trying to play, although she hasn’t quite worked out how to play with non-greyhounds just yet.
Blossom was a little puzzled by her enthusiasm, but the two of them got on beautifully. Ivy’s joyful energy and calm nature made the whole meeting a pleasure to watch. She’s so open-hearted and friendly that we really believe she has the potential to live happily with other breeds, depending on careful introductions and matching personalities. She’s a girl who just wants to love and be loved in return.
Ivy’s presence is truly something special. She has a way of soothing the people and dogs around her, a soft magic that can calm even the busiest day. Her kind heart, gentle loyalty, and playful spirit make her one in a million.
