Heidi has joined us on multiple events since coming into our care, and she has been such a superstar. She attended our Clarks Farm Show 2025 and was part of our homing parade and to say she was the star of the show is an understatement.
Everyone fell in love with her. She strutted her stuff through the ring, meeting so many people and receiving endless love – it truly was the best day of her life.
Despite the busy, overwhelming atmosphere, Heidi took it all in her stride, completely unfazed and soaking up every moment.
She is such a social, friendly, and happy-go-lucky girl, and we know she’ll love every second of life outside the kennels. We honestly adore this girl so much.
Heidi is currently kennelled with Lemon, and the two of them get on brilliantly. She’s very happy and social with other greyhounds, so we know she would be more than content sharing her forever home with one or two of her hound friends.
That said, Heidi is a people dog at heart. She’d be just as happy as the only dog in the home, soaking up all the love and cuddles for herself.
She’s confident, independent, and more than ready to be the shining centre of her new family’s world.
At the same time, she thrives as part of a big greyhound group and would love to have a circle of hound friends to go on adventures with.
Her social and outgoing spirit is one of her most magical traits, and it’s something we absolutely adore about her.
Heidi would love to be part of a family and would happily live alongside dog-savvy children. She gives her love so freely – any human, big or small, who is ready to receive it will find themselves with the most affectionate companion.
She’d also be equally happy in an adult-only home, so long as she’s surrounded by humans who adore her just as much as she adores them.
During her dog test, Heidi was an absolute star. She took it all in her stride – calm, friendly, and beautifully well-mannered. She and Blossom got along straight away, walking happily side by side up the road without a single issue.
Heidi kept checking in on Blossom with curious sniffs, tail wagging the entire time, as if to make sure her new friend was still by her side.
Blossom adored Heidi, bouncing around her with kisses and joy – a sight that showed just how special Heidi really is.
She also greeted dogs of all shapes and sizes with no issues, her tail wagging as she made new friends with ease.
It’s clear that Heidi is an all-around social girl in every part of her life. She’s endlessly loving, caring, and full of that happy-go-lucky spark we all adore.
