Gizmo currently shares his kennel with the beautiful Baby, whom he absolutely adores. He enjoys the company of his greyhound friends and loves nothing more than snuggling up with Baby.
We know he would be very happy to share his forever home with a friendly female greyhound, as long as she’s happy to let him remain the centre of attention!
Gizmo is a proper people-lover and would equally thrive as the only hound in the home, soaking up all the love and affection for himself. He’s confident, independent and incredibly adaptable, and we know he could settle into a wide range of home environments with ease.
Gizmo gives his whole heart to humans, big or small, but because of his very cuddly and physical nature, we feel older children would be the best match. They’ll be more likely to enjoy and understand his affectionate, hands-on way of showing love.
That said, he’d be just as content in an adult-only home where he can snooze the days away, happily curled up beside his humans. Whether it’s a busy household or a quiet one, Gizmo will make himself at home as long as there’s love and a sofa to share.
It will come as no surprise that during his dog test, Gizmo was the absolute picture of perfection. He was incredibly gentle, well-mannered, and sociable with Blossom – they walked happily up the road together without a single issue.
He clearly enjoyed her company, and Blossom was smitten with him from the very beginning, which says so much about the warmth and friendliness Gizmo naturally gives off. He was the perfect example of how a dog test should go – calm, kind, and full of charm.
