He truly is the ultimate BFG (Big Friendly Greyhound). This handsome boy is such a gentleman, and we’re all completely head over paws in love with him.
Just one look at that gorgeous silver-blue coat and those soulful eyes, and you’ll understand why he’s our resident supermodel.
Fester has a wonderful personality, perfectly balanced with a calm, gentle nature that makes him the ideal representative of his breed. Anyone lucky enough to meet him instantly falls for his charm, he’s so lovable it’s almost ridiculous.
Happy-go-lucky, affectionate, and quietly charismatic, Fester is at his happiest when spending quality time with his favourite humans, soaking up every ounce of love and attention.
With his laid-back manner and sweet bursts of playful silliness, he brings the perfect blend of cuddles and laughter to every day.
He’s your classic male greyhound in the very best way he is charming, kind, and a true people-lover through and through. Fester absolutely loves his naps (he’s a real “snooze you win” kind of guy), thrives on fuss, and enjoys nothing more than being close to his humans.
Though calm and well-behaved, Fester’s got a cheeky sparkle that comes out in the most joyful ways. He never fails to lift your spirits. His presence is soothing, his love unconditional, and his personality utterly enchanting.

Fester has settled into life at Clarks Farm with total ease, taking everything in his stride. He’s confident, easy-going, and steady as they come he is the kind of hound who just goes with the flow.
Nothing seems to faze him; he’s cool, calm, and collected in every situation. With his soft, loyal heart and gentle soul, he’s the definition of the perfect companion.
And although he’s currently one of our bigger hounds in the kennels, that just means there’s more of him to love and more room for cuddles!

He has the biggest heart and so much love to offer, and we truly hope his size doesn’t put anyone off adopting him. His exceptional personality and the sheer amount of love he has to give make him a perfect companion.
Fester truly is a gentle giant, perfect in almost every sense. He is great on the lead, calm and relaxed in his kennel, and wonderfully social and laid-back with people. You barely even notice his size because he’s so well-behaved.
He is such a special boy who deserves to receive the same amount of love he gives out. We know the perfect family will love everything about him, including just how big and wonderful he is.
Fester has settled into life at Clarks Farm as if he’s always been here. He’s so content and happy, slotting into our routine like a dream. From his first day, he’s shown what a well-mannered, kind, and gentle soul he is.
We just adore how easy-going he is, never in a rush, never in a mood, always patiently waiting his turn and taking each day as it comes. He’s the sort of hound that makes life feel calmer simply by being there.
We have no doubt he’ll settle into his forever home just as easily, curling up on his new sofa as though he’s been there all his life.
Fester is a wonderfully social boy who enjoys the company of both his humans and his fellow greyhounds. He’s shared his kennel happily with female companions, always polite and relaxed.
We believe he would settle beautifully in a home with a calm female greyhound who matches his chilled-out nature.
That said, Fester is also very confident and independent. He’s perfectly content in his own company and would be just as happy as the only hound in the home, soaking up all the love and cuddles from his humans.
He’s definitely more people-motivated than dog-motivated and is a true people’s hound who will happily swap playtime with other dogs for fuss and attention from his family any day of the week!
When it comes to humans, Fester loves them all, big and small, but due to his size, we think a home with very young children wouldn’t be the best fit. Greyhounds aren’t always known for their spatial awareness, and one playful zoomie could easily send a little one toppling over!
Older, dog-savvy children or teenagers who are confident around large dogs would be perfect for him, as would an adult-only home where he can snooze the days away, stretch out across the sofa, and be the absolute centre of his humans’ world.
His adaptable and easy-going personality means he’ll fit into many different homes with ease, as long as there’s love, comfort, and a few soft blankets, Fester will be in his element.
During his dog test, Fester was full of enthusiasm at first when he spotted Blossom, but after some polite sniffs and wagging tails, he quickly settled into the walk. The two strolled side by side, completely content, showing us just how friendly and well-mannered he really is.
As with any greyhound, Fester will benefit from continued positive socialisation to help him build confidence around dogs of all shapes and sizes. We know he’ll do wonderfully with gentle introductions and calm experiences as he’s such a clever, good-natured boy who just wants to please.
Fester is, quite simply, a joy. Gentle, sensitive, and endlessly loving, he’s one of those rare dogs who touches your heart in the most effortless way.
And of course, true to his name, Fester is always lighting up our lives here at Clarks Farm.
His warmth and gentle glow could melt even the coldest Addams Family mansion. This boy isn’t spooky or strange, he’s pure love, loyalty, and heart.
Fester might share his name with a ghostly uncle, but this boy’s light is brighter than any bulb.
He’s guaranteed to brighten your days, warm your heart, and fill your home with endless love. Now that’s what we call a shockingly good companion!
