Dotty regularly joins us for Meet the Breed appointments, and it’s easy to see why – she’s the perfect greyhound representative. With her loving nature, calm confidence, and gentle ways, she shows new adopters just how wonderful life with a greyhound can be.
And it’s impossible to resist her when she comes in wanting to be as close as possible, giving you those puppy dog eyes and resting her little head in your hand or lap. She is simply too adorable.

Dotty is currently kennelled with Anton, and the two of them get on brilliantly. Anton can be picky with his kennel mates, but he instantly took to Dotty, which tells us everything we need to know about how gentle, friendly, and easy she is to be around.
She’s very social and would be more than happy to share her forever home with another greyhound or two. That said, Dotty is a people dog at heart. She would be equally happy as the only dog in the home, soaking up all the attention and love for herself.
Dotty would love to be part of a family and would happily live alongside dog-savvy children. She gives her love so freely—any humans, big or small, who are ready to receive it will find themselves with a truly loving companion. She’d also thrive in an adult-only home where she can enjoy a calm, loving environment with her favourite people.
During her dog test, Dotty was an absolute star and took us all by surprise with how polite and calm she was. She was gentle, well-mannered, and confident in her approach.
Blossom got along with her straight away, and the two happily walked up the road together without a single issue. Dotty is just an all-around social girl – loving, caring, and full of that happy-go-lucky spark we all adore.
