Donkey is just as much of a superstar outside the kennels as he is inside them. He settled into life at Clark’s Farm like he’d always been here, quickly becoming a much-loved part of our little family.
Donkey has already attended a couple of events, including our Clark’s Farm Show 2025, and he did absolutely brilliantly. He took everything in his stride, totally unphased by the outside world.
Nothing could distract him from all the love and attention he was receiving and he lapped up every second of it. He met humans big and small, socialised with dogs of all shapes and sizes, and adored every single moment.
This boy is as sociable and easy-going as they come, and we know he will thrive in home life once he finally has a family of his own to love.
Adaptable and confident, Donkey will settle beautifully into a wide range of different home environments. Whether it’s a lively family household or a quieter one, as long as he has his humans by his side, he’ll be one very happy hound.
At the moment, he shares his kennel with Razz, and the bond between them is heart-warming to see. Donkey adores his greyhound friends, showing the same affection to them as he does to us humans.
He’d be more than happy to share his forever home with a calm female greyhound, but he’s also independent enough to be the only dog in the home, soaking up all the fuss and attention for himself.
When it comes to people, Donkey is as generous with his affection as his movie namesake is with his chatter!
He gives his love freely to humans both big and small. Because of his excitable jumpy-up cuddles, he’d be best suited to a home with older children, or younger dog-savvy children who will enjoy and understand his over-the-top affection.
Donkey would also be perfectly happy in an adult-only home with teenagers or adults, snoozing the days away and being adored for the sweet, affectionate boy that he is.
During his dog test, Donkey showed us exactly what we already knew that he’s an angel through and through. Calm, gentle, and beautifully well-mannered, he walked side by side with Blossom like the perfect gentleman.
He was steady, friendly, and relaxed, showing off exactly how a dog test should be done. Donkey is something truly special and is the kind of dog who gives love so freely that you can’t help but feel like the most important person in the world.
