It’s important to know that Chloe can be shy and reserved when you first meet her just as she was when she arrived here. She won’t show her full personality straight away, and she needs gentle, patient humans who understand that her trust and love take time.
But when she does choose you, it’s one of the most rewarding feelings in the world. Chloe doesn’t give her heart easily but when she does, it’s forever.
She may be a little nervous at times and needs a peaceful, reassuring home where she can feel safe enough to truly shine. But once she’s settled and comfortable, her personality is absolute perfection full of love, kindness, and charm.
We all love Chloe so much and believe with all our hearts that someone out there will see her for the exceptional girl she truly is and give her the forever home she so deeply deserves.
Chloe currently shares her kennel with Anton, and she’s more than happy to share her space with him. She takes great comfort in the company of other greyhounds and is naturally friendly and relaxed around her sighthound friends.
Because of this, we know she’d be more than happy to live alongside another sighthound in her forever home.
That said, Chloe is also a calm, independent girl who would be just as content as the only dog, as long as she’s surrounded by humans who are loving, patient and understanding. She simply wants a peaceful home where she can be herself.
Due to her more reserved nature, Chloe would be best suited to a calm and settled home with mature children or adults only.
If there are older children in the home who can respect her space, understand her need for gentleness and give her the time she needs to feel safe, then this could be a lovely match.
A noisy or very busy household with young children, however, might overwhelm her and cause her to retreat, which we would never want.
Chloe would thrive in a quiet, adult-only home where she can truly relax, take things at her own pace and let her gentle personality shine through.
Chloe’s dog test was absolutely wonderful. The moment she saw Blossom, her whole face lit up and she became so happy and excited it was the first time we truly saw her confident side come out, and it was such a lovely moment to witness.
She was relaxed, friendly and gentle the entire time, and completely at ease around Blossom. She showed herself to be calm and content in the company of another breed, which speaks volumes about her kind, balanced nature.
Chloe truly does have it all a loving heart, a gentle soul, and a quietly social spirit. She’s pure perfection, full of affection, grace, and kindness, just waiting for the right people to notice how special she is.
Whoever opens their heart to Chloe will gain not only a best friend, but the most loyal and gentle soul they could ever hope for. She is one in a million, and we can’t wait to see her find a place to call home.
