Of course, he is also a typical male greyhound in the best way, a little bit clumsy, wonderfully soppy, but full of love, the perfect mix that makes him our Champ.

Nothing seems to faze him he is cool, calm, and collected in every situation, handling life like the true Champ he is.

Everything that has been thrown at him he has handled in true Champ fashion, as if as long as he has us nearby, he can take on the world like a little hero. I can picture this boy having the best time with his forever humans, heading out on little adventures and then snuggling up on the sofa afterwards for a well-earned rest like the champion of cosy living he is.
I love how he is outgoing and up for anything yet also chilled out and more than happy to spend his days snoozing, the perfect balance of playful Champ energy and peaceful relaxation. He really is the best of both worlds, and I truly feel this is why he is going to make such a wonderful companion for one very lucky family.

He has slotted into life here as if he has always been part of the furniture, and it has been such a pleasure getting to know him and spend time with our little champion. He constantly brings a smile to my face and makes me feel calm and comfortable whenever I am around him. Champ is a wonderfully social boy who enjoys the company of both his humans and his fellow greyhounds, happily sharing his world with everyone around him. He has shared his kennel with male companions, always polite and relaxed, and he is currently kennelled with Cadbury, with the two of them enjoying each other’s company like the perfect little team of Champs.
Champ has that amazing personality that means he can share with both male and female greyhounds with ease, a real all-round champion when it comes to friendships. He would happily share his forever home with another greyhound or two and is not fussy on who they are, as long as there is kindness and calm.
That said, he would also be just as happy as the only hound in the home, soaking up all the love and cuddles from his humans and living life as the centre stage Champ he deserves to be. I do think he would thrive in a home where someone works from home or could have an office dog, as he truly appreciates being close to his people, but this is not essential for him as he has that independent streak.
When it comes to humans, Champ loves them all, big and small, handing out affection like a true champion of cuddles. We do feel a home with very young children would not be the best fit, simply because of those classic greyhound zoomies and their lack of spatial awareness. Dog-savvy children or teenagers who are confident around larger dogs would be ideal for him, allowing him to shine as the gentle Champ he is.
He would also be perfectly suited to an adult-only home where he can snooze the days away, stretch out across the sofa, and be the very centre of his humans’ world, like the kingly little champion he is. His adaptable and easygoing personality means he will fit into many different homes with ease, as long as there is love, comfort, and a few soft blankets, he will be in his element.
During his dog test, Champ was a little eager at first, not quite sure what to make of Blossom, but as soon as he had a proper sniff, he realised she was a friend and instantly settled, showing his true Champ nature. They happily walked up the road together, sharing plenty of sniffs and moving alongside each other like they had known each other for years.
With a little time and patience, Champ shows just how calm, social, and well-mannered he truly is. Like all our greyhounds, he will benefit from positive experiences with other dogs to help him feel confident in every situation, and we know he will take this in his stride like the champion he is. He is such a good boy and shows that to us each and every day, a true Champ in everything he does.
Champ is exceptional in every way, and he deserves humans who are just as exceptional, who will love him as deeply as he will love them. He is, quite simply, a joy.
