I honestly fell in love with him the moment he hopped out of that van. He pressed himself right up against me and looked up with so much love that I just knew he was going to be one of the kindest, most special boys we’ve ever had. Everyone who meets him says the same thing he’s pure sweetness, through and through.

My favourite part of the day is going in to see him and his kennel mate Summer at the end of a shift. I sit on his bed, and before long, Breezy has tucked himself beside me, his tail thumping and his eyes full of contentment. He’s the kind of dog who makes everything feel lighter just by being nearby.
He fills even the gloomiest days with light and laughter, and that tail of his could probably power a wind turbine with how happily it wags when he sees you. Breezy truly is the ultimate bundle of love, kindness, and comfort.
With his heart as open as the sky and his spirit as gentle as a summer breeze, this boy was made for home life. Somewhere out there is a sofa with his name on it, and when he finds it, we just know his forever family will feel like the luckiest people in the world.

Breezy is an incredibly social boy, both with us humans and his fellow hounds. He truly gets along with everyone he meets, giving off good vibes wherever he goes. Everyone who meets him, human and hound alike, falls instantly under his spell.
We’ve yet to meet a single soul who hasn’t loved everything about him. His warm, sunny nature and easy-going charm make him a joy to be around, and it’s impossible not to be swept up in his gentle breeze of happiness.
He’s currently sharing his kennel with our long-stay girl, Summer, and the two of them get along beautifully. It was love at first sight with those two. They’re like two peas in a pod, always snuggled up together, sharing quiet moments or watching the world go by.
Breezy has brought such light and happiness into Summer’s days, and she absolutely adores having him by her side. The pair of them are a joy to see, and it’s clear that Breezy’s calm and kind-hearted energy brings out the best in everyone around him.

Breezy would have no trouble living with another greyhound or even a small pack of hounds in his forever home. All of the hounds adore him, and we know he would fit in beautifully with any calm and friendly companions.
That said, he’s also wonderfully independent and more than happy to go with the flow. Since he absolutely adores humans, being the only dog in the home and soaking up all the love for himself would suit him perfectly too. Breezy’s favourite place in the world is next to his people, and he’ll always choose a cuddle over anything else.
He’s a big fan of humans, big and small, and has been so lovely with all the children he’s met here at the kennels. He’d happily live in a family home with children, as long as they are dog-savvy and comfortable around bigger dogs. With his gentle, patient nature, he would thrive in a family setting just as happily as he would in a calm, adult-only home.
His adaptability and laid-back personality mean we know he’d settle beautifully into a wide range of homes. Whether you live in the busier part of the city or the peace of the countryside, Breezy will fit right in and bring his calm, comforting energy along with him.

It will come as no surprise that during his dog test, Breezy was the picture of perfection. Blossom adored him from the moment they met, and the feeling was clearly mutual. He was calm, well-mannered, and friendly in his approach, taking everything in his stride.
The two of them walked happily side by side, enjoying sniffs together, and it was one of the sweetest dog tests we’ve seen in a while. Breezy’s calm confidence and thoughtful nature shone through from start to finish.
