Confident, friendly, and wonderfully social, Benji is a true happy-go-lucky hound. He has a “go with the flow” attitude and settled into life at Clarks Farm as if he’d always been here.
Nothing really fazes him as he takes everything in his stride and is far more interested in soaking up love and fuss from his favourite people. His outgoing nature makes him such a joy to be around, and he’s quickly become a much-loved part of our family.
Benji does have a bit of a vocal side – he likes to “chat” with us now and then – but this only adds to his charm. His quirks and personality are what make him so special, and we love him all the more for it.
Benji has been a very special boy since the day he was born. I was lucky enough to see photos of him as a tiny puppy, and he was every bit as adorable then as he is now.
His trainer has always thought the world of him and made us promise to find him the most loving forever home and we couldn’t agree more.
Benji is the perfect balance of good nature, gentle affection, and playful charm. He’s the kind of companion who will change your life for the better, bringing warmth, love, and laughter to every single day.

Benji is such a confident and social boy, and we really saw him shine at our Clarks Farm Show.
He came along to a very busy event filled with children of all ages, dogs of all shapes and sizes, and large crowds – and he was an absolute superstar.
He handled his first outing like a pro, soaking up the atmosphere and greeting everyone with his signature enthusiasm. His face lit up each time someone came over to fuss him, and he strutted his stuff proudly in the homing parade.
It was a joy to watch, and we know many people fell in love with him and with greyhounds that day.
He showed us all how loving, kind, and friendly the breed truly is. His adaptability and calm confidence shone through, proving he’s the sort of hound who can take everything in his stride.
Because Benji is so easy-going, he would suit a wide range of homes and lifestyles. Whether in a busy city or the calm countryside, he’ll settle with ease – as long as he has his humans by his side.
He currently shares his kennel with Winnie, who is famously particular about her companions, and yet the two of them have formed a beautiful bond.
Benji has been wonderful with her, respecting her space, staying calm, and showing her nothing but kindness. Their connection has been so strong that when Benji had to rest for a few days with a pulled muscle, Winnie was lost without him – proof of how special he truly is.
He would be very content sharing his forever home with a friendly female greyhound, but he would also thrive as the only dog, soaking up all the love and attention just for himself.
Benji is very much a people-dog, and his affection extends to humans both big and small. He’d be more than happy to live alongside dog-savvy children, joining in with games, family fun, or even hopping in the car for the school run.
Equally, his loving and adaptable nature means he would thrive in an adult-only home, where he can be the shining centre of his humans’ world.
During his dog test, Benji was the perfect gentleman. He walked beautifully alongside Blossom, giving her space when needed but showing polite interest with happy sniffs.
He was calm, friendly, and confident throughout, showing off the social skills that make him such a joy to be around.
Benji truly is a treasure – a boy full of love, laughter, and light. With his playful spirit, affectionate heart, and loyal soul, he has everything you could ever want in a best friend.
