Autumn is currently sharing her kennel with Chestnut, and the two of them are absolutely smitten with each other. They’ve formed such a beautiful bond, always side by side and perfectly in sync, like two leaves dancing together in the breeze. She gets along so well with her fellow greyhounds, happy to share her space and her heart with the dogs around her.
We think she would love a home with another greyhound or two to keep her company, as she clearly enjoys the comfort and companionship of her friends. That said, Autumn is also a people dog at heart. She would be just as happy as the only dog in the home, soaking up all the love and attention for herself. Whether she’s part of a pack or has her humans all to herself, she’ll be perfectly happy as long as she’s surrounded by love.
Autumn would adore being part of a family and would happily live alongside dog-savvy children. She gives her love so freely that any human, big or small, who is ready to receive it will find themselves blessed with the most loving companion. I can easily picture her trotting along on school runs, tail wagging, greeting everyone she meets, before heading home for a cuddle on the sofa.
At the same time, Autumn would thrive in an adult-only home where she can enjoy a calm and peaceful environment, soaking up all the affection from her favourite people. She’s the kind of girl who makes every day feel cosy, like a quiet autumn afternoon filled with warmth and love.
During her dog test, Autumn was an absolute star. She took us all by surprise with how polite and calm she was. Gentle, well-mannered, and confident in her approach, she handled everything beautifully. Blossom took to her straight away, and the two of them walked happily side by side without a single issue. Autumn’s gentle and attentive nature really shone through, and it was lovely to see how comfortable she was.
Blossom even gave her the sniff of approval which is a rare honour reserved only for her favourite hounds, so Autumn officially has the Blossom stamp of approval! She’s a truly social girl, loving, caring, and full of that happy-go-lucky sparkle that makes her so special.
